Spokio is an offline text-to-speech app for Mac, powered by Chatterbox Turbo for English voice generation. It supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 15.6 or later.

Speech generation, voice cloning, and audio processing run locally on your Mac. Spokio does not upload text, audio, or voice samples to cloud services.
Does Spokio work on my Mac?
If your Mac runs macOS 15.6 or later, it meets Spokio’s published system requirements whether it has Apple Silicon or an Intel processor.
Examples include:
- MacBook Air with an Apple M-series chip, including M1
- MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon or an Intel processor
- iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro models that meet the macOS requirement
